The Centre for the Study of Bible and Mission originally launched as a Redcliffe College initiative in 2010 and has enjoyed partnership and support from organisations such as Bible Society, Wycliffe Bible Translators and Keswick Ministries. Throughout this time it was led by Tim Davy. Activities during this period included the blog, MA programme, a public lecture and visiting scholars.
In 2016 Redcliffe and Trinity College, Bristol, began to dream about what we could do together, combining Redcliffe’s specialism in mission training and missiological research with Trinity’s long-established expertise in Biblical and Theological studies, especially at PhD level.
We knew there would be places we could go together that we just wouldn’t reach on our own. We’re excited about the journey ahead!
