New publications and links will be added to this bibliography to keep it as up-to-date, comprehensive and useful as possible.

Missional Hermeneutics Bibliography

Tim J. Davy and Michael W. Goheen

The aim of this bibliography is to give a comprehensive orientation to writings on the missional interpretation of the Bible. It is more focused than simply a list of books and articles connecting the Bible and mission. Rather, it notes titles that consciously adopt the method of “missional hermeneutics,” or those whose work is very closely aligned with this approach, as developed since the mid–1990s. It includes books, articles, and chapters in edited volumes. The bibliography also includes a selection of key works that are considered to have been foundational to the emergence of missional hermeneutics.

This online version is curated by Tim J. Davy. Please leave a comment below for suggestions of new titles.
